Still a size 2

As of last Monday the 9th I was 121 lbs and 32 3/4 waist. My size 2 pants still fit and I feel good.
I have just been maintaining my weight, not loosing anymore which is good, I am happy where I am.
I have been really busy with school and life, so I have not been doing too much excercise. I walked last week at lunch every day for 30 min. This week, not so much.
I have a big life change coming up that will also be changing my stomach size, ready for that adventure.

I then had Taco Bell on the run for lunch and a Mexican dinner with Elizabeth on Friday. But I still feel good. After several weeks of my coworkers telling me my pants are too big, I agreed. My pants are all too big on me and fall off my butt. I had to keep hiking up the pair I was wearing yesterday. I decided to go dress pant shopping today at Plato’s Closet, but I couldn’t find any. So I came back with a really nice pair of jeans. SIZE 2!!!!!! And they only cost me $6, amazing. I don’t think I have ever worn a size 2. I was so excited at first I was not sure what size to even try on. I am wearing a size 3 and they are too big, so I grabbed a size 2. The pair I picked was great. I am so excited that I fit into a size 2. I will be heading to Ross tomorrow to get some dress pants and I know what size to look for. WOO HOO
I was not at home this morning, so I was unable to weigh myself. I will weigh in tomorrow.
Still Maintaining

120.2 lbs
Yea, I feel good and love that I am maintaining and keeping it off. I still get to eat junk food sometimes and then make up for it during the week.
This last weekend we had a concert and 2 birthday parties. I had pizza 2x, hot dog, ice cream, cake and Panda Express orange chicken. (aka it was that time of the month)
But I am back on track and doing just fine.
Yay me!
Next up trying to get prego, at least I have a head start in the weight.

My belly picture
I hit my goal of 120 on September 4th. I think I put on my blog Sept 3, but I meant the Friday before Labor Day. Not the best picture to show my belly and weight loss, but it helps.
The morning of Sept 4 I was 120.8 lbs. YAY I made it and it felt great. Now I just need to maintain it.
We have been so busy these first 2 weeks of September, we went to the lake for 4 days and ate lots and lots of food, I felt like that was all I did and cook.
Then this last weekend we went to Pismo, I didn’t do any cooking, but we ate snacks and went out to eat.
I am still maintaining my weight, but did not drink that much water this weekend. I weighed myself this morning and I was 123.6, not too bad for a busy weekend.
Working out
August 20, 2009 at 1:22 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | 1 CommentI worked out last night after class. I came home and Ben and James were at church. I did the Wii fit cardio step and strength exercises for 30 min. I can feel it a little in my calves today, nothing major.
I am just excited I am working out. I am starting to want it and crave it. I know it will be hard with my new school schedule coming up in September, but I will have to fit it in sometimes.
Wii: 123 lbs even today and BMI: 21.84 (I think, I can never remember that one)

New Goal
August 19, 2009 at 10:23 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentOk, so my goal date came and went. I did not meet my goal. Last week was a little hectic and needless to say I didn’t even try. However Nicole and I did go to the gym on Tuesday, I did 20 min of cardio and some weights. The other days were just too busy for us.
I did find that if I do not weigh myself every morning I get off track. I don’t pay attention to what I eat and don’t exercise. I think a lot of my bad eating was because I had not gone grocery shopping in a while and didn’t have any healthy stuff left in the house.
Saturday: We were out all day and I had Jack in the Box for lunch and Panda Express for dinner, got to love the orange chicken. Its ok to splurge a little, but now I have to make up for it. I am on track again with eating habits at work, stocked the fridge with good stuff. I need to do better with the water, drink more.
Aug 18 Weight: 123.2 lbs
My new goal is to be 120 lbs by Sept 3rd. That is Labor Day weekend and we will be on the lake and in swim suit attire all weekend. I basically have 2 weeks. If I stick to it and exercise I can do it.
Last night James and I went around our complex, he rode his bike and I jogged next to him. He did stop several times and I had to help him, so it wasn’t the best. Maybe next time he will go in the stroller.
Thursday night I will go to the gym and do cardio.
Only a few days left
August 11, 2009 at 3:06 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentWell I only have a few days left until my goal of August 14. I wanted to be 120 lbs. As of Sunday AM I was 124.6 lbs.
Ben and I went out to dinner Friday night at Outback. Then Saturday we all went canoeing, ate candy and chips. Then we went out to dinner at Chili’s ate chips and Queso. Yum. So I gained instead of loosing.
Now I have to work extra hard this week. Tonight Nicole and I will be going to the gym again. Yeah. I will do some cardio and some weights.
My company always does birthday lunches and desserts for each person on their birthday. However in July we don’t have any bdays, so it was nice not to have those extra meals. But tomorrow is someones bday. I got out of the lunch, but they will still have dessert. Will I be able to pass it up? Without being rude.
So the next 3.5 days will be hard, but I will see what I can do.
Gym Day
August 4, 2009 at 10:43 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentToday is the day that Nicole and I will go to the gym. Ben signed up for a membership and Garrett will be coming too. Its a double date at the gym and they have babysitting for James.
I think we will do a little cardio to get the heart pumping and then do weights to tone our muscles. I noticed last night when I flex my arm I do not have flab hanging and you can see a definition, amazing what happens when you get rid of the fat.
I am still slowly moving down in weight, the weekends I tend to eat a little more, but still going down so that is good.
Wii fit: 122.8 lbs
I have 11 days until my next goal of August 15. My plan is to be 120 and to loose some inches in the waist.
I was taking my 28 ounce water cup and filling it half with water and freezing it at night, then filling the rest with water in the am and it would stay cold so I could drink it. Normally finished the whole thing by lunch. Well sad thing this morning, it cracked and broke, I guess it expanded too much. So I need a new method of drinking water.
Oh and I am going to Mexican lunch today, so its a good thing I am going to the gym.
They Fit!

I see my old pants that I have not fit into since before getting pregnant, um 4 years ago. I pull them out and put them on, and They Fit! I am comfy in them and have a little room to spare. I am so excited, I now have a new selection of clothes to pick from. I wore my grey pants to work last week and everyone kept saying they are too big and they were falling off of me. YAY. So put those ones away and pull out the small ones.
Wii Fit: 123.2 lbs
Last night Nicole and I were not able to go the gym, but we did go on a walk around her house. We walked about 1.5 miles. James rode his bike, but got tired half way through and we took turns pulling his bike, so that gave us an arm workout.
I have 2 weeks and 2 days for my next goal date of Aug 14. I would like to be 120 lbs. I can do it.

July 21, 2009 at 7:52 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentYAY – A little progress! On Thursday AM I was 123.6 lbs. However, I was in the munchy mood, I think it was because I didn’t drink coffee, I am hungry when I don’t drink coffee. So I kind of did the same thing this week that I did last week. Thursday and Friday were lots of food eating. I had burritos at home for dinner on Thursday and went out to eat at Mexican on Friday. I do a lot better when I go to eat, I don’t eat my whole meal and I don’t order soda, just water. Friday night was the fair again, this time I just had a soda and the rest of James Ice Cream. I weighed in on Saturday morning and I was 125.3 lbs, so back to 125 right? Blah. Saturday night was Kenny Chesney concert, so again not good eating, nachos and soda and snacks. But Sunday I did much better. Monday AM weighed in at 125.3, so I didn’t gain, but I didn’t loose either, that’s good I think for a weekend. I got back in gear at work on Monday and I weighed in this morning at 124.6 lbs. Yay, so I keep moving forward. I might need to wear a swimsuit this weekend so I better stick to it.
Now I need to start working out more often and I think that would help tone. I only get a little walking in at a time, and maybe pilates 2x a week. However, Nicole and I belong to the same gym, so we are going to try and start working out 2x a week.

This is my first blog and I am excited to be starting this with them. Our goal is to get in shape and be healthy and to be happy with our bodies. These blogs will be a motivation for ourselves and for each other. We will be posting our workouts and food consumption. Since we are all a little competitive I am sure we will use this to motivate each other by trying to out top the next, which is what I love about us. We compete with each other in a good healthy way and we survive that way. That’s what makes us different from others. My goal is to loose my “baby” fat that I have had for 3 years and be able to see my stomach again.
Day before the Day
December 1, 2008 at 5:41 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentTomorrow is the day that I will start my workout routine. I pigged out all weekend on Turkey and the fixings, now I am ready. In June, Ben and I went to Phoenix for our 5 year anniversary and I was very motivated to look good in a bikini. I weighed 127 and my belly was decent while we were there. I now weigh 137. I would like to be at least 122, but I would like to look good, have a flat tummy and thin thighs, I understand I may gain some muscles which weighs more than fat, so I may weigh more than 122, but mainly I want a flat tummy.
I have several weighs I can start working out. I have pilates at home, which is how I lost the weight last time, I can walk or go to the gym on my lunch breaks, I can use my Wii fit and I can walk after work on days I don’t have school.
I know this is going to be hard with the holidays, but I want my clothes to fit and I want to look good in my pictures. With help and motivation I can do this.
First Day of workout!

I figure this will be the time that will always be constant and I will weigh the least, since I hadn’t eaten since the night before. This morning I weighed in at 135.5, better than I thought.
I just finished pilates, Buns and Thighs workout. Feel great. That one is my favorite and I feel it does a great job.
My goals for this week are… to drink at least 4 bottles of water a day and to work out for at least 20 minutes depending on the activity. I also will not have fast food or soda, which I already do, but wanted to write it down. I am trying to eat healthier, but that will be the hardest part for me. I will try.
My personal goals are to make an awesome sweater for the Christmas contest and to pick out a tree for my house. I love decorating and I am so excited to have a party.
Ok, off to slumber land it is.
Chugging Along

I weighed myself this morning I was 134, I know I didn’t loose that much weight, but I also know my weight fluctuates. Whenever I say I lost two or three pounds, Ben says that is nothing he takes a poop and looses that much. Well I definitely do not loose that much when I take a poop, it doesn’t even fluctuate. So anyways, at least I went down and not up. Today I only had 3.5 bottles of water, but its a hard start.
Workout: During my lunch break I did a 20 minute fast hard walk, its about 1.5 miles through the neighborhood and park near my work. I didn’t even have my co-worker, workout buddy, Christine with me as usual. I took my I-pod and did it by myself. I was very motivated today, besides the weather was nice for December 2nd. I was not able to do a workout tonight, but I did go shopping and walked around the store and pushed a shopping cart for at least an hour. That should count for something.
Food: Since I went shopping I did not have time to make dinner and Ben was hungry. I stopped and picked him up some Jack in the Box, but resisted the urge and did not get the Tacos. I came home and had a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats. Go Me!
Tomorrow is a busy day, only half an hour lunch, then off work early for school and then straight to church. I should get home around 9:30, I should have enough time for a pilates workout. Hopefully I can at least get my water in take in.
Wednesday Workout
December 4, 2008 at 12:15 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | 2 CommentsSo I had a revelation today. I realized I had a sip of Ben’s soda on Tuesday night. It was not intentional and I didn’t even realize I did it. So I had soda, didn’t mean and only a little bit, but I did.
I also had a piece of chocolate, and chocolate cake and ice cream at work today, it was someone’s birthday and I feel rude not celebrating with them. It was yummy, not my normal, don’t really ever care for chocolate, but it is that “time”. So everything in moderation, not deprevation, right?
I also got home before 9:30, got James in bed and did the Abs Pilate with the stretch band. Great workout, it was then only a few minutes before 10pm and Ben was not home yet, so I pulled out my Wii fit and did the step aerobics for about 15 minutes. YAY me.
Wednesday morning I weighed 134.5.
Thursday and the rest of the week are going to be crazy for time. I have bunco on Thursday night, and I am going shopping on my lunch break. Maybe my exercise will have to consist of walking around the store.
Workout Progression Update
February 12, 2009 at 10:58 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentWell it has been a very long time since I posted anything on my blog. I actually have been working out and eating better, but I have been using all my spare time to workout, instead of write in my blog. So I am actually doing good, but no one gets to witness it.
I got up to 140 lbs in January after the holidays, I couldn’t believe it, I had not been that heavy since I had James. That was ridiculous I thought, there is no reason for it. It was due to the holidays and eating whatever and whenever I wanted and being a bum. So I have set my goal to be 125 by summer, and with a flat tummy.
Now for the starting measurements taken this morning: I weigh 135 lbs, my fattest part around my stomach is 35” and my thighs are 22”. So I have a lot of work to do, along with going to school and working full time. Oh by the way I got a promotion. I am now the Assistant Property Accountant at work. I am so excited it is what I want and like to do. I am even going to school to be an accountant. I am hoping to graduate in a year and half or less.
My workout schedule: I have been doing 20-30 minutes of Pilates every night. I am also doing “Core Rhythm” at my mom’s on Wednesdays. I am hoping to start walking at lunch again, but it is raining now. I would like to get back to the gym at lunch too, but work has been a little crazy for me and my workout buddy.
The Diet: I have been eating better, not the best, but better. I am cutting back on snacks that are unhealthy like crackers and carbs, they seem to be the only thing around the office and started having cottage cheese and yogurts. I have started eating more fruit and making fruit smoothies everyday. I love them. I am also trying to have protein in the morning with breakfast instead of oatmeal or cereal. I have been eating eggs. My lunches are still the same, normally leftovers or sandwiches. Dinners have been a lot of crock-pot meals since I go to school at night and do not have time to make dinner. I do have a little treat everyday, either a handful of M&M’s or a starburst. But the key is moderation, not deprivation. I am also trying to stay away from fast food and soda. The fast food part is not to hard unless we go on trips and eat on the drive, same as soda, I just order water now. However I am still not drinking enough water. I need to work on at least 4 bottles a day, right now I barely get one. So off I go to the kitchen to get some water.
Well I will keep everyone posted a little more often with my progress on measurements, weight, exercise and eating habits. I hope to share some good recipes and workout tips with everyone soon.
Serious Time

MY GOAL: Loose 10 lbs and tone. I believe I can do it if I put my mind to it.
How I will obtain my goal:
Workout: Walk at lunch for at least 20 minutes
Jog after work on the days I do not have school at least 30 minutes
(Any day but Tues. or Thur.)
Pilates every night, rotating between full workout, abs, and legs
Gym at least 3 times a week, for weight circuit
Food: Drink at least 5 bottles of water a day
No soda
Follow a meal plan and no unhealthy snacks
Plan dinners ahead of time, to avoid unhealthy dinners
Motivation: Try on swimsuit every other day
Compete with Christine
Have a picture of the cruise ship displayed at desk
I CAN DO IT!
Now I just have to find the time.

March 23, 2009 at 1:00 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentWell those were not the exact words my grandma said to me. She more of came up and rubbed my belly. I had to let her down and tell her it is just fat. Yep I am fat and she says it was the empire waist shirt I was wearing that made her think that. I was also wearing jeans and had just gotten out of the car after a 3 hour drive, so it was more muffin top.
However, more motivation for me to loose weight.
Goals: I have walked at least 30 minutes, normally 40, every day except Sunday, I only walked about 15 minutes with James around the block.
My water goal has not been that great. I have done at least 3-4 bottles of water a day, except on the weekend. I tend to eat less and drink less on the weekends. I will change my water goal to 4 bottles, about 65 ounces, a day until I get use to that.
Pilates was done every night except Friday, Saturday and Sunday, since we were gone at my dad’s for the weekend.
I weighed myself Sunday AM and I was at 135 lbs, so not doing to bad. I do need to focus on the inches instead of weight, since I will gain a little muscle which weighs more than fat.

7lbs in 14 days
April 2, 2009 at 1:32 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentWell it is possible to loose 7lbs in 14 days if you have time. However, I am slim on time. My cruise is in 14 days. Oh my.
I have been sort of sick the last few days, a sore throat and achy muscles, and not much energy. I have not walked, but I did do the abs pilates, and I can feel it. Feels good.
I get my haircut tomorrow, so I am excited for my new look.
I am eating really healthy and drinking water.
I have lost 3 lbs, but I have not measured my inches, I will have to do that tonight and try on a swimsuit again. I know I will still look the same, like a gorilla, but hopefully getting better soon.
Well it is time to pick up the pace in my walking and make it jogging. Next week is spring break from classes, so I will have extra time in the evening.
Back on Track

I was in decent shape for a bikini as long as I stayed lying down on my chair, which made me look skinny. I did get an amazing tan to start off for my summer. Fat always looks better when it is tanned.
The cruise was awesome and I ate a lot of sort serve frozen yogurt and I didn’t gain any weight, but we also did a lot of walking and dancing. We ate so much food it was crazy. There was a midnight taco bar and I ate it and I wasn’t even hungry. I can’t resist Mexican or free food.
Anyways, I am officially done with school for the semester, and I have 3 weeks off. That means I have 3 weeks to get in shape. My new goal is July 4th, we will be camping and on the boat, I need a good bikini body.
This morning I weighed myself with the bathroom scale, it is off a little. I weigh 135.5, but at the Dr’s last week, it said 132.2, my Wii fit said 132. So I am guessing mine is off a bit. Anyways, I will pick one and stick with it, so I know an exact amount I am loosing. I would like to be 125 by July 4th. I will probably pick the Wii fit, because it keeps a chart and graph. I will weight and measure tonight for exact measurements to start. We are going to take pictures of our bellies and post them too, that is scary, mostly for motivation. Don’t look if you don’t want to be grossed out.
My stomach measurement at biggest point is 34 ¼ inches, gotta get rid of the fat.
Goals this week:
Walk 30 minutes a day
Pilates or Wii fit 20 minutes
Drink 4 bottles of water a day
Cut out calories

Weight: 131.5 lbs
BMI: 24.28
Tummy Inches: 34 1/4 (around hips and fattest part)
I walked 2 miles with Elizabeth last night to Granada. I came home and did some hula hooping and slalom ski on my wii.
I also felt the need to fast yesterday and pray for my house selling and the bank to accept our loan offer. Mostly for a compassionate bank negotiator. So I drank almost 6 bottles of water.
I am looking forward to having the time to workout. Tomorrow I will be going to Farmers Market in Pleasanton and hopefully walking a lot.
Under 130
June 3, 2009 at 7:54 am | Posted in Uncategorized | 1 CommentI have done it, I have gotten under 130. Just barely at 129.9, but I made it.
I have been cutting calories every day. I have been eating about 1100 calories and exercising a lot. However, I had some awesome Taco Salad at Elizabeth’s last night and it was yummy. So that might have pushed a little more calories, but I went home and did my pilates. I still made it under 130.
On Monday night I walked 4 miles. Brittany and I walked to the softball game and then when it was time to leave realized that Ben didn’t have a carseat for James, so we would be walking home. It worked for us because it was still sunny and gave us more walking time.
I have been going home at lunch and using my Wii Fit. I do arm exercises and a little cardio with the Step game. I did the boxing too, great workout for the upper body.
Let me tell you I love having all this extra time on my hands and not having school or homework, but I can’t get use to it. School starts in 3 weeks.
After the Weekend
June 8, 2009 at 8:25 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentWell Thursday and Friday were hard for me. Thursday: We had a company picnic at the park. I didn’t eat too much and we did a lot of running while playing a scavenger hunt. I did have a small piece of cake for someone’s bday. Friday: We went to PF Chang’s for an Accountant luncheon for work, the food has a lot of calories. Then I went to Del Valle with the family and had dinner up there. So that was two bigs meals in one day. I am getting better at not eating a large portion or having seconds. But I did have a smore. You can’t go camping and not have a smore.
I did better on the weekend, but didn’t drink as much water as I should have. We had a graduation party for the cousins and there was good mexican food there, can’t pass that up (again). But I compensated and had cereal for dinner.
I am now at 129.2, so I gained a little and lost a little, but I am still doing good. I measured my waist and it is still the same, but I didn’t measure my legs or arms or any where else. I could be loosing the weight any where.
Just keep exercising: Yesterday Elizabeth and I walked for an hour before church and about 15 minutes after church. We were jamming all over the neighborhood. It was a total of 3.5 miles.
Tonight I plan on walking to the softball game.
I have 24 days left.
4th of July
July 7, 2009 at 11:11 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentThe 4th of July came and I met my goal. My goal was 125 by July 2nd. I weighed myself the morning of July 1 and I was 125. 7 lbs. I guess that counts right? I was so excited and I can feel the difference in my thighs, my stomach feels smaller, but on Wednesday the measurement was still the same. I was happy and know I can keep going. My next goal is to be 120 lbs and trim by August 14.
Wii fit: Weight 125.7 lbs, BMI: 22.27
How did I do it? I cut out a lot of calories. I was eating only 1000 calories during the week, a little more than that on the weekends. I cut out soda, snacks, candy, chips. Surprisingly I was not hungry. I drink about 4-6 bottles of water a day. I try to do exercise, but don’t always succeed. I walk at lunch and try to do pilates or wii fit every night. I started weighing myself on the wii fit every morning when I wake up, it keeps record of everything and is a great motivator.
I would like to increase my workout, maybe start walking with the family a few nights a week. Oh and we did the Cancer Relay Walk, I think I walked for a total of 5 hours, that was great exercise. Then this last weekend for the 4th, I wakeboarded, tubed, kneeboarded, and jetskied. Major muscle workout on the muscles that don’t get much use. I need to do that every weekend, I would be in great shape.
OH and I signed up for co-ed softball with my hubby. We need to start practicing asap, but it should be fun and excercise.
New Goal: 120 lbs and trim, tummy be at least 33″ by August 14th.
How: Cut calories, eat more protein, walk at least 30 min a day and do muscle/pilate training.

125.7 and steady!

It started with Thursday, I went to the dentist during lunch, so I was not going to have time for food. So I grab Weinerschnitzel, chili cheese fries yummy. Then that night was Bunco and I had snacks, but Elizabeth and I walked to and back from her house to Jill’s house for Bunco, it is just about over 1 mile one way. Friday AM: I was 125.7 lbs, gained a little, stinking chili cheese fries.
Friday: We went to the Fair with the hubbies and kids. Of course the best part of the fair is the food. We had Macho Nachos (shared), I had a few bites of James corndog, and we had ice cream, but we did a lot of walking around the fair, that helps, right?
Saturday: Nicole and I rode our bikes to Farmers Market in Pleasanton from my house, which is a 2.3 miles one way. We walked around the market and ate fruit. Then I rode my bike back home. Granted I had James on the back which is about 33lbs and backpack with the bike chain and fruit about 10lbs. There is a slight incline on the way home and it worked my butt. Then the girls came over for spaghetti dinner and we went back to downtown for Frozen Yogurt, oh so yummy.
Sunday: Church, of course I had MaryAlice’s coffee cake, so good. Then we had a BBQ at the park. I had chips and guacamole and a hamburger and a brownie. I played on the playground with James. Then we went to the Luau at the church. Had Kalua Pig, to die for, I love it with rice. I had mine, and James and a little of Ben’s. Granted that was all I ate, I didn’t eat the bread rolls, oh but I had a little salad. So after all that being said, I guess I did enough exercise because I was the same weight as I was Friday AM. So I didn’t loose any, but stayed even. Now back to the low calories and lots of water. I didn’t drink more than 3 bottles of water all weekend, bad, bad.
